Lyons Music Technology is an educational website for music teachers. We focus on providing books, courses, and blog content to help teachers learn how to create engaging technology-based music lessons. Our mission is to empower music educators with the knowledge and resources they need to integrate technology into their teaching methods effectively, ultimately enhancing the learning experience and educational outcomes for students of all levels.
Founder of Lyons Music Production, Matthew Lyons is an accomplished educator, author and speaker with over two decades of teaching experience. Currently serving as the music and media arts director at Oak Park Music & Media Arts Magnet School in sunny San Diego, CA. He is dedicated to fostering creativity and innovation in his students. Matthew holds a master's degree in curriculum development from the University of San Diego, as well as a master's degree in music technology from the University of Valley Forge. In addition, he is Avid-certified in Pro Tools and Sibelius. His passion for education and the arts is to inspire both learners and fellow educators.
